The educational experience of an orchard tour and other family-friendly activities make these events a highlight for many. We look forward to sharing the farm with you.

Summer Group Tours | June – August by Reservation Monday – Friday

Welcome to our farm to enjoy the summer harvest season with an educational experience. Summer tours focus on planting, growing, and picking fruit.

Little Friends Wagon Ride Only 

$9/person
Allow 1 hour for a group of 50 people
Enjoy a 25 to 30 minute tractor – drawn wagon ride through the orchard.

Wagon Ride Orchard Tour – educational and interactive with a tour guide 

$11/person
Allow 1 hour for a group of 50 people
25 to 30 minute tractor-drawn educational wagon ride tour through the orchard.
Learn how we care for fruits and vegetables at Brecknock Orchard.

Little Friends Wagon Ride & Wagon Ride Orchard Tour Include:

  • Pick fruit: containers provided. The fruit will vary with the season.
  • A snack of pretzels and a fruit slushy.
  • Goody bag including a coloring book, pack of crayons, info about Brecknock Orchard, and educational worksheets for guests aged 10 years and younger. Groups of guests aged 11 years + receive a similar bag with a tablet and pen in place of the coloring book and crayons.
  • Picnic area available complimentary with a scheduled tour. Please reserve when scheduling your tour. To reserve the picnic area without a tour is $15 per table per hour.

Make & Take Crafts

$6/person
Allow 30 minutes for a group of 50 people to make both crafts

  • Make a pinwheel, watch it spin in the breeze, and take home to enjoy all summer
  • Plant a seed; take home with instructions on how to care for and watch your plant grow

Combo Packages

Allow 90 minutes for a group of 50 people
$14 Little Friends Wagon Ride (not a narrated tour), and Two Make & Take Crafts
$16 Wagon Ride Orchard Tour and Two Make & Take Crafts.

Group Leaders:

  • One tour coordinator is free. Additional teachers, parents, and chaperones pay the regular rate.
  • We will count your group after seated on the wagon and confirm the number of people in your group with your tour coordinator.
  • Children under age 2 years are FREE for the Little Friends Wagon Ride & Wagon Ride Orchard Tour.
  • Everyone in your group will do the same activities.
  • The tour coordinator provides one payment for the entire group, cash or credit card, with our cashier in the farm market at the conclusion of your visit.
  • Minimum tour fee: $200.00

2025 Fall Group Tours | September 23 – November 8 | by Reservation Monday – Friday

Wagon Ride, Pick Fruit, Snack

allow 1 hour for a group of 50 people
Each person in your group will

  • Enjoy a tractor-drawn wagon ride in the orchard.
  • Pick an apple
  • Enjoy a snack of apple cider and pretzels

Pick Your Own Pumpkin
$3 a person
allow 15 minutes for a group of 50 people
On the tour, we will stop at the pumpkin field and each person picks a small 2 to 5 pound pumpkin.

Play Area Includes Straw Maze, Corn Box In The Big Barn &The Big Backyard Mazes & Games
$3 a person
allow 30 minutes
Featuring the tire mountain, swings and slides, tricycle bale trail, pumpkin tic tac toe, apple checkers, the straw maze inside the big barn, play in the corn box, and more outdoor games.

Combo Packages

Wagon Ride Combo Package

allow 2 hours for a group of 50 people
Includes wagon ride in the orchard (non – narrated), picking an apple, picking a pumpkin, snack, apple bag, and the play areas. Combo Package does not include the Make Your Own Caramel Apple.

Includes wagon ride orchard tour, picking an apple, picking a pumpkin, snack, apple bag, and the play areas. The Combo Package does not include the Make Your Own Caramel Apple.

Make Your Own Caramel Apple

$7 an apple
allow 1 minute per person
Minimum of 20 apples
Each person will dip a fresh apple in warm caramel, then roll in toppings and place it in a closed container to take home and enjoy. Dipping caramel may sound sticky for young children, however, our helpful staff will assist your group, keeping it easy and enjoyable. MYO Caramel Apples are not included in the wagon ride or wagon ride orchard tour minimum, or any combo packages.

Group Leaders

  • One group leader is complimentary. Additional teachers, parents, and chaperones pay the regular rate.
  • Everyone in your group does the same activities.
  • Your group is counted after being seated on the wagon ride.
  • Children under age 2 years (have not had their 2nd birthday yet) are free for wagon ride and wagon ride orchard tour and play areas.
  • The group leader provides one payment for your entire group with any of our cashiers in the farm market at the conclusion of your visit. Credit cards and cash are welcome; no personal checks.
  • Minimum tour fee is $200. MYO Caramel Apples are not included in the tour minimum.

Festival activities are open to the public during our Fall Festivals on Saturdays with no reservations needed. Visit the Festivals Page for more festival information.

Spring Group Tours | April 17 – May 31 | By Reservation Monday – Friday

Welcome to our farm to enjoy the spring season. Experience the farm and learn about blooming fruit trees and plants, pollinators, and how we are preparing the orchard for a bountiful summer and fall harvest.

Little Friends Wagon Ride Only

25 to 30 minute tractor-drawn wagon ride through the orchard. 

Wagon Ride Orchard Tour  – educational and interactive with a tour guide

Allow one hour for a group of 50 people

25 to 30 minute tractor-drawn educational wagon ride tour through the orchard.

Learn how we care for fruits and vegetables, walk through the orchard overlook to see the beehives.
