1 Quart sugar peas or snow peas
1 tsp salt
1. Rinse peas thoroughly with cold water.
2. Remove stems and strings; leave whole.
3. In a kettle bring 1/2 inch of water and 1 tsp salt to boil.
4. Add about 1 quart of snow peas. Return to boil and steam for 2 to 3 minutes.
5. Serve with browned butter or milk.
How to Freeze
1. After step 4 in the above directions, cool immediately in cold water.
2. Package and freeze for up to 12 months.
